10/7 - Waterfall Bay BushWalk, Richmond, and Hobart's Royal Botanical Gardens

10/07/2012 - This was another very full day!

This the the Waterfall Bay Bush Walk... steep climb and a bit messy after the rains we had, but the payoff was outstanding!

We are heading to that far point.

On the way, we detoured to a cool waterfall...
...view from behind the fall.

Then we got to the edge...

Spectacular so we couldn't resist the photo op!

Boat tours are popular and they go in and out of caves.
Then we got to the ultimate payoff...

What a lookout!
Closeup View - amazing!

Wow!

It's indescribable, really.  The landscape just cries out, "I'm beautiful and strong!"

We got back to the house and Brian and Lyn said they would meet us in their house at Blackman's Bay

I found a number of Tasmanian wood bowls in an art shop - such beautiful wood.

On the way to the Botanical Gardens going into Hobart, we noticed the 'reversible lanes', though there are no separation in the lanes... it was very disturbing.  The entry was confusing - looked like I was heading into the oncoming lane.

At the Royal Botanical Gardens, we found the domain (park) to be huge and quite beautiful.

Then we came to the Japanese Garden - WOW!

Spirits won't walk on this bridge.

Outside of the Japanese Garden we found this wall... the center keeps the heat in during the day and the plants get  the benefit of it overnight.

We kept seeing great things as we made our way out.

We made our way to Blackman's Bay and Brian & Lyn's house there.  Glorious Trip - Glorious Day!
